The Protectorate is the national cape team of the United States. It operates as part of the Parahuman Response Team, the Federal agency responsible for parahuman law enforcement. It also includes a division for youth members, known as the Wards.
In Denver and in most other cities, the Protectorate is co-located with the rest of the PRT in a single headquarters compound.
