The Space Shuttle Discovery was returning to Earth. The details of the mission remain classified, but the world knows one thing. Five men went up. Six came down. As the shuttle descended towards Earth, a figure in black-green crystalline armor and antlers appeared onboard. It is believed this figure spoke briefly with members of the crew (very little official words have been said) and once the shuttle landed safely at Cape Kennedy, they disappeared into thick fog that had abruptly enveloped the previously-sunny site.
Soon after this, capes began to appear around the world. Some benign, most malicious. A super powered arms race had begun, with Wild Hunt remaining elusive. But it was clear, wherever they had come from, they had brought powers with them.
