cold war still ongoing, due to escalations in the 80s with capes showing up. ussr capes violently put down any protests during the late 80s and have consolidated power.

germany still partitioned with berlin wall still a thing.

koreas - unified after EB attack, focussing on internal affairs rn

china - kinda doing its own thing, not quite isolationist but yeah

space race between us and ussr is a thing, with us being more :spoopy: and ussr going for publicity for the most part.

middle east is a proxy war clusterfuck between us and ussr, even moreso than irl. generally unpleasant place to be

venezuela got salty after us supported coup attempt, old regime detonates mpls dirty bomb. venezuela is now us puppet state.

panama and PR are states. guam is highly militarized
