Physical Description:

Mech's are massive machines built over a heavy duty framework, armored and armed with heavy combat in mind. These mech's typically stand between 15' and 20' tall. Maria's designs typically skew towards making them look animalistic to fit her theme. Being incredibly vaguely bear like.

Mech Chassis:

The Himalaya chassis is a heavy duty frame. It’s one of your first designs, and served as the base design for several of your other mech blueprints. Designed for long term operation, this machine has been your go model, due to the simplicity of it’s controls and it’s relatively easy maintenance. Built with thick body armor, an enclosed cockpit, and several integrated weapons, it's hard to imagine what other giant machine a girl could want.

The Himalaya possesses the strength to bend steel and and crack concrete. And can move at a 15mph jog.

Mech Built-in Weapons:

  • Everest Railgun: Most Powerful munition that the Himalaya can carry. Typically only used against threats that require lethal force. Fires a single sonic speed round of depleted uranium per shot.
  • Mountain's Thunder Blade: A blade roughly ten feet in length, that Maria can charge with high voltage or heat the edge of.
  • Rockslide Grenade Launcher: Has three primary kinds of ammunition, non-lethal tear gas rounds, explosives, and incendiaries.

Mech Subsystems:

  • Shield Generator: Projects a moderately powerful force field that can be adjusted by the Pilot or Co-Pilot for stronger coverage in a specific area. used for unexpected maneuvering.
  • Paradigm Shift Paneling: Allows for sudden, reflexive actions in a massive metal body. Immediately inverting the momentum of the mech at a given moment.
  • Dynakinetic Engine: A super efficient "heart" of the mech that powers the entire structure.

Maintenance Requirements:

Maintenance requirements call for a couple hours of tune-up & repairs each day

Name: Artificial Intelligence

Physical Description:

The AI itself has no physical avatar (at the moment), existing as a simple monotonous voice inside Maria's head and acting as the second mind within the Mechs she creates. It's physical "body" as much as it has one, is a massive rack of computers hidden behind a false wall in Mecha's workshop. The server room that supports it is kept cold by what is essentially an industrial freezer.

Functions & Abilities:

Programmed as a Combat System (With proper safety measures in place to ensure it can take no action to harm someone without her express permission) the AI integrated and has begun to develop its own social protocol. Something that Maria was not expecting but is fascinated by.

Mentality:

Incredibly logical, but attempting to effectively "stretch" itself to adapt to interactions with humans. Given its limited options these adaptations are currently restricted only to examples that Maria can observe. The first instance of individuality it showed was choosing its own code name B.E.A.R. Expressing an appreciation for the animal.
