| appearance = Metal wings, rocket pack and armor. Blue tubing pops out at the wrists and legs, carrying the coolant needed.
| appearance = As it’s the newest iteration, the suit has been added to and changed. The base layers the armor and jets attach to have had their colors changed, the top blue and the bottom grey. More noticeably, a lot of armor has been added, in different colors. The chest piece has been segmented and colored grey and gold, along with the red color it had before. The new color scheme continues throughout the suit. The right bracer has been changed to be more accommodating of the wrist rockets, more smooth than it was before.

| abilities  = Due to improved resources and tools, the suit's theoretical maximum speed has been raised to 300 mph. Additionally, the wings he has now allow him much finer control in the air, meaning that he can consistently fly at around 60 mph without issues steering (though not without issues from g-forces). The panels on his back now have ducts of cooling liquid that run across his body, meaning that he can be warm in the winter, and he can fly longer in a given time by letting the heat be dissipated faster. Furthermore, the wings are able to fold up into square-ish boosters, granting him the necessary increase in speed to hit the 300 mph mark. He can also grab handles on the underside to use them as bludgeons if he is disarmed. Small shields (courtesy of Zipdash) can keep particulate out of the system for short periods, but they disappear after a couple of minutes.
| abilities  = Following a collaboration with Phalanx, the suit has had hydraulics added to increase carrying capacity and striking power. Additionally, the wings have been modified to fold up into a more manageable size, letting Lift-off use one as a shield paired with his new spear. It also contains a deployable glider in the event of a malfunction or cape interference.
| notes      = Duration: His fuel is now more potent, giving him a total of an hour and a half of normal (45-60 mph) flight time.
| duration  = Despite the change in materials to titanium, the additional weight added means the suit has the same duration as before, about an hour and a half of flight time.
| notes      = The gold color was supplied by Phalanx’s Elysian Steel electroplated onto the desired pieces. Equipped with a NUCLEUS standard tracking device.

| appearance = The main body of the weapon is made of the same red-colored metal as much of Lift-off’s equipment, with normal metallic grey as accents, along with blue cloth wrappings on the stock. Akin to a DMR, this gun has a long barrel with a superfluous muzzle brake on the end. The reason given for the addition by Lift-off was “It looks cool”.
| creator    = [[Lift-off]]
| abilities  = The CGW is a configurable weapon, designed to function similarly to Gyrojet weapons from the ’60s. Instead of the conventional bullets propelled by gunpowder, the gun shoots small rockets made by Lift-off. These projectiles can be launched at different speeds, allowing for adaptation in any given scenario. For people without Brute ratings, there is the “Normal” option where they are launched at relatively low speeds to hurt but not kill. For Brutes and people with kill orders, there is the “Brute” option where they fly much faster, providing a much stronger impact that can be potentially lethal. Aside from the strength selector, there is another, more traditional firing mode selector of “Off”, “Semi”, “3 Round”, and “Auto”. The barrel and stock and collapse and fold for ease of transport.
| duration  = The standard magazine holds 21 rounds, with bigger 30 round magazines available for more drawn-out encounters.
| notes      = Equipped with a NUCLEUS standard tracking device.

| appearance = The Spear is a long metal shaft capped on one end by a red metal weight and on the other end by a small version of the CGW with a very short barrel, along with an “underslung” blunted blade of the same red metal, with gold accents throughout the piece.
| creator    = [[Lift-off]]
| abilities  = The spear can collapse down for transport, then be reextended for melee combat. The gun mechanism on the tip is fired with a smaller handle on the back third of the shaft.
| duration  = The magazine on the spear is much smaller, holding 8 shots before it needs to be reloaded.
| notes      = Equipped with a NUCLEUS standard tracking device.

Character Sheet

Appearance

Lift-off in his civilian identity

Liftoff has a pretty standard looking set of red and grey metal armor on top of a cloth bodysuit with some flexible pipes of coolant running along the exterior. He also has some small holders for zip ties and his bo staff. His main draw appearance-wise is the rocket pack and wings. Made of the same red and grey metal as the rest of his suit, they can fold and flick out, matching his general body language. He has black eyes and black hair, stands at 5’8, and has a medium build.

Equipment and Resources

Resources

Wealth Level: 4

A permanent room in the PRT building.

Equipment

A collapsable bo staff

His Ascendence suit (Mk. 2).

Wrist rockets, as an offensive capability. Carries 8 on a given outing.

Skills and Specializations

Specialization: Rocketry

Okay hand to hand training, he did learn martial arts, but it was one of the more showy ones, not one of the practical ones. Since joining the Wards, he has started receiving lessons in more usable schools.

Mentality

He’s a decently bright kid, and generally sees through on things he’s committed himself to. He IS a teenager though, so he’s not always keen on showing deference to people he doesn’t think should have it.

Tinkertech

Power

Trigger type: Single Natural Trigger Liftoff is a Tinker with a specialty in rocketry. If it can be reasonably called a rocket, he thinks he can make it. That does include RPGs, but he found out the hard way that that will end in someone dying (no one got hurt, but we do not speak of the Hiking Incident). It also includes fireworks, so the 4th of July will be fun.

Backstory

Gabe has always been something of a thrillseeker. When he was young, he’d walk to the top of the highest hill and go down it on his bike, almost always falling off and scraping himself up. He never lost that drive, but it went from something he did sheerly because it was fun, to something he could do to escape his issues, at least for a little bit. His parents weren’t concerned if he got himself hurt. His mom was just trying to get by each day, and his dad, well… failed experiments don’t cause small circular burns. One day, his “dad” was way worse than usual. Something about getting the lottery numbers 1 off or something like that. At any rate, he grabbed an old iron poker that had been sitting in the fire for a while and turned to Gabe and his mom. He blacked out for a second as he realized that he had to leave that house, then and there. So he ran away, seeing ideas start to form in his head.
