Iron Maiden is an itinerant villain who travels around the Great Lakes region. She's been spotted in Devilfish and has gotten into a few smaller fights, but hasn't done anything too notable since coming to town.
Character Sheet
Appearance
Anetta is 5'10, with a modelesque frame. Her platinum blonde hair is shaved on one side and goes to her waist on the other. She has blue eyes, and fair skin which is dotted with scabs from use of her power. She wears grungy, baggy clothing such as loose jeans, combat boots, and oversized tee shirts with rock or metal band logos on the front.
Her costume consists of a mask molded to look like a woman screaming in agony. While out in costume, she tends towards clothing which leaves her arms exposed along with her usual baggy jeans and heavy boots.

Mentality
Maiden constantly walks on the razor’s edge of anger, ready to lash out at even the smallest perceived insult. She has a tendency to try and bulldoze right over obstacles and believes herself superior to most people she meets. She is an anarchist who thrives in chaos and bucks against authority.
She exemplifies the idea that Parahumans are more emotionally raw than normal humans. Her happiness puts her on top of the world, her sadness is a pit of despair she has trouble dragging herself out of, and her anger comes with lots of collateral damage.
Power
Natural single trigger with capability for second trigger; Changer/Brute/Striker/Mover
Iron Maiden has a musculature made up of an extremely dense and hard metal that resists most forms of attack. From this metal musculature she can produce metal spikes that extend from her body. The spikes can grow 15 feet a second and can extend up to 20 feet from their point of origin if not impeded by a solid enough surface. They are dense and hard to break, but she can make them bend and flex as well as whatever part of her body they grow out of. The spikes are capable of piercing through two inches of hardened steel, making her effective against even armored opponents. More than that makes it difficult for them to push forward.
Due to the metal resting just beneath her skin, she is extremely resistant to most attacks, but her body is a great conductor for electricity, heat, or cold. She is also heavier than her size would indicate (around 600 pounds) and is unyielding when she hits something.
She is capable of propelling herself by pushing spikes against solid surfaces as she leaps, as well as grappling onto a building or object and retracting her claws to pull herself closer.
Her power is uncooperative, activating itself against her will in moments of stress or distraction. This usually punches holes in whatever clothing she’s wearing and anything she’s touching is at constant risk of being pierced. The growths also tend to cause her to bleed as they punch through her skin, but no serious damage is done.
Backstory
Anetta Lang was a child pageanteer until the age of 13, when she changed her look and attitude. This led to a shouting match with her mother, which turned into her mother hitting her. She triggered, and her power impaled her mother. Anetta fled, leaving her mother to bleed out and orphaning herself.
She became an itinerant villain. Heroes would come after her, but she was dangerous and hard to pin down for an arrest by the preliminary forces used. She was good at making an escape and would move on to the next town whenever the big guns were deployed against her.
